Survey Results

31 Jan

As promised, but much too late (because I was hoping more people actually read my blog, I’m so naive), here are the results of the survey! Thank you for taking the time to respond. It was super fun to see the responses! I even found out some random person actually reads my blog on a regular basis! I’m not sure how to feel about that, but if more people would then I could get advertisers and make a bajillion dollars. But, until then, I am happy with my 21 faithful readers. :) Oh, and if you forgot, but still want to take the survey, it’s still available:

Well, poo, they all turned out blurry. I’m sorry, but as noted in the previous post, Dan is not here right now, which means that I don’t have tech support. I think you can still kind of read it.

No frenemy’s! Phew, that’s a relief!

It only makes sense that I have mostly Ohioans. O-H!

I feel slightly vindicated that I have one more person in my own age group than in the one above it. I was worried that my mom and my teacher friends were the only ones reading. :)

I think I thought I could force everyone to love purple. Alas, I cannot.

This one cracked me up. I can’t believe the Peewee Herman dis’ won! I loved the people that wrote in their own…. Hahaha, I know who the first one is from!

The “a little” one was from the random person, which I don’t mind. The “it stinks” one was from Ben, because he thinks he’s funny. Well, I’ve got news for you Ben. You stink!

Aww. So nice. Ha, I know who was reading at work too!

The following question didn’t have multiple choice. It was the one about your favorite blog post.

The next two are about how often you read the blog. Dang blurry images! Sorry!

This is the one about what you would like to read more about. You were supposed to help me out and pick “babies,” but okay, you want to hear about school. Bummer.

This last one was about what you think I should put in my profile. I’m tired. Time for bed.

Home Sweet Home

2 Jan

After an exciting two weeks or so, we’re back at home and it feels so good to relax. We unpacked, did laundry, and sat around watching reality TV. I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed and wake up with access to a full closet. Ahhh.

Gingerbread fun… and scariness

23 Dec

Here we are at Julie’s, taking over Katie’s bedroom as usual. When everyone got home, Dan and I were sitting on Katie’s bed, doing whatever we do on our laptops all the time.
Later, Katie joined me in the fun.

After we got bored with that, Julie had a gingerbread kit that we decided to get into. When we were cutting out the little gingerbread men, we discovered that with just a few pinches and pulls, we could make our gingerbread men a little more interesting. So, here are some Christmas ones. We have Santa-bread Man (notice his pointy head/hat)…

Rudolph-bread Man…
Here’s Elf-bread Man (another pointy head/hat)…

Then, we decided to create family members. Here’s Marky-bread Man…

Katie-bread Woman (a twirler)…

Gingerbread Cats (Tigger and King… or Cammy and Diego depending)…

Dan the Muscle-bread Man… Look at those bulging biceps!

Then, we started to get really crazy and Halloween-y, oddly enough. Here’s Franken-bread Man…

Alien-bread Man (my favorite)…
Siamese-bread Man…
Katie’s scary creation… Psycho-bread Man!
Then, we started to run out of ideas, so here’s an attempt at Elmo-bread Man, but we figured out his head isn’t big enough a little too late.
This would be Mosaic-bread Man or Break-Your-Teeth-Bread Man because those gumdrops were disturbingly hard.
We officially names this one Leftover-bread Man and I’m sure you can see why.
And, with the last lump of dough, we made Baby-bread Man. Awwww….
The end.
