I think fall has finally arrived. The leaves are changing and it has been a bit chilly all week, so Dan and I decided that it was time to go get pumpkins and partake in other fall festivities.

We got up this morning and went to the farmer’s market, which takes place at the North Market. This is probably one of the last weeks that it will be going on, so it was nice to finally go and get some fresh veggies and apples.

After that, we headed to Yellow Springs, a town somewhere between here and Dayton. There’s a gorge there where we have hiked many times before. We like it best when the leaves are changing.

Once we finished our hike, we headed to a pumpkin stand to get our pumpkins.

Then, we went to lunch at Young’s Dairy Farm. It’s a place Jess and Dan went a lot when they attended Cedarville. They have good ice cream, grilled cheese and the ever famous tater babies with cheese (see picture below) and yes, we got all three. They also have a farm animals that kids can pet and (right now) pumpkins for sale! We didn’t get one of those, but we did get pumpkin ice cream!
