Silly Ohio, February is not for Flip Flops

I remember when I was a kid and when it was March, it didn’t matter how cold it was, I wanted to wear shorts because March means spring and spring means shorts. I think most people in Ohio are ready for spring way before it gets here and today, we got a little taste of some spring-like weather. It was in the 50s and I saw more people in flip flops and shorts than I could count.

The nice thing about the warm weather was that people were out again. It reminded me why I like summer so much. People were out playing basketball, eating on the patios of restaurants and even just walking more leisurely. It makes me think one of two things… I either need to live somewhere warmer or I’m completely okay with global warming. I think I’ll take my car for a few extra trips around the block tomorrow.
