Wintry Mix

Back in college, my roommate Gina (also studying to be a teacher) loved to hear the weather man say the words “wintry mix.” This always spelled disaster for the roads, but joy for teachers because school was canceled. The area schools are canceled here, but the big news is that Ohio State even canceled classes! Yesterday I asked a lady that is in charge of the computer labs if she thought we might get classes canceled. She said that in the ten years she’s been at Ohio State, they’ve only canceled classes once. Well, bust my buttons, this must be my lucky day. So, I decided to work from home today and I don’t have to go to class tonight. Ah, relief.
